To become a member of the MacKenzie
Highlanders Pipes & Drums You must be a
civic-minded, patriotic individual who is
committed to serving the military, law
enforcement, firefighter and first responder
community in a very unique way.

You must be committed to practicing and
learning.

You are required to provide for yourself a
practice chanter and College of Piping Tutor
Vol. 1 (bagpipers) or drum sticks and
practice pad (drummers).

Provide for any instructional material as
requested by your instructor.

You will be expected to make practices and
when ready, performances.

Band practices are held every Thursday
night at the Mitchellville Community Center,
120 NE 2nd St. Click on Map from 7:00-9:00
pm with beginner's instruction from
6:30-7:00 pm.
